Sustainable Supply Chain & Procurement — Six-Month Professional Course

School: FINCOM Paris | Paris Business School. Duration: Six months. Programme code: ESPAST-C20.

Course Overview

Learn the foundational relationships of procurement, transport, and inventory; evaluate supply chain cost, service, and environmental impact. Train evidence verification and option comparison through supplier and logistics cases.

Learning unfolds around a complete case, progressively developing problem analysis, process documentation, and final outcomes. This course is not a compression of Bachelor or MSc into six months, but concentrated training in the specific capabilities outlined in this course.

Target Audience and Application Requirements

Business, operations, logistics, or management foundation is recommended; other backgrounds may be assessed through materials. Applicants submit personal information, CV or learning history, and learning motivation; if the course involves creative work or technical foundations, applicants may attach portfolio or project materials. The course team will assess whether supplementary foundation learning is needed based on submitted materials.

Six-Month Learning Schedule

Months 1–2: Study Supply Chain Fundamentals and Supplier Information and Procurement, identify case and prepare materials, complete foundation exercises.

Months 3–4: Deepen Logistics and Inventory and Environmental Indicators, complete phase applications, receive feedback and revise methods or options.

Months 5–6: Complete integrated project around Options and Cost Comparison and Collaboration and Performance Records, organize outcomes and conduct final review.

Practical Project

Compare procurement and logistics options in a supply chain case, deliver environmental, service, and cost evaluation. Outcomes must explain personal contribution, materials used, analysis or production methods, results, and limitations. Team tasks are individually assessed for personal outcomes; participation in team activities does not substitute individual assessment.

Teaching Methods

The course combines method instruction, case exercises, project feedback, and final review. Online learning applies to materials, calculations, digital production, and document collaboration; tasks requiring photography, rehearsal, physical objects, or equipment testing require on-site specifications and conditions to be confirmed before the course starts. Actual online, hybrid, or on-site format is announced per cohort; listing a six-month course does not automatically commit all three formats to run.

Assessment and Completion

Complete designated modules and phase assignments, submit integrated project and pass final review. Evaluation focuses on understanding supply chain processes, verifying supplier and environmental information, comparing operational options, and outcome accuracy, process documentation, expression, and professional responsibility. Specific grading, resubmission, and re-review procedures will be announced before the course begins; those who do not complete assessment do not automatically receive a completion certificate.

Successful completion and assessment lead to an institution-issued professional course certificate.

Skills and Career Applications

Can be used for procurement coordination, supply chain analysis, and sustainable operations support tasks. Course projects can serve as personal learning outcomes or portfolio materials; actual positions require evaluation in combination with existing education, experience, and employer requirements.

Fees and Application

Contact admissions for course tuition and payment information. Online and on-site use the same six-month full course fee. Before formal admission, tuition, practical conditions, other fees, and payment terms will be provided; pre-application does not require payment of tuition.
